They constantly work to ensure that Atlas is supplying its customers with heat exchangers that meet all of the customer's specifications. Every heat exchanger is constructed in accordance with an ISO 9001 QA System which is registered by HSB RS Certificate Number GQC 675 and all audits are performed by Atlas personnel with formal Assessor/Auditor training.
-----The QA Department is equipped to perform gas and bubble formation leak testing, Brinell hardness and helium testing as well as liquid penetrant examinations. NDE such as radiographic, ultrasonic and magnetic particle examinations are performed by a qualified laboratory approved by our QA Manager.
-----Calibrated equipment is used for all inspections and product processes that affect quality. All inspections and examinations are documented on Atlas' comprehensive Checklist and Traveler specifically designed to coordinate inspection activities between the Authorized Inspector and the customer.
-----Quality Assurance personnel maintain traceability of material
time it is receipt-inspected until the heat exchanger is manufactured and shipped. A final completed data package is assembled in the format specified by the customer and submitted with the product. All records are maintained permanently to provide customer service for the life of the heat exchanger.
